GCr15 steel is a kind of high carbon chromium bearing steel with low alloy content, have good performance and most widely used in various industires. It has high and uniform hardness, good wear resistance and high contact fatigue performance after quenching and tempering. such as size range 44.35mm - 44.57mm(1.746063 inch-1.754724 inch) industry standard Grade 40 hardened steel ball bearings, high quality graded hardened chrome steel ball bearings made from chromium AISI 52100 steel. Hardened to 61-67 Rockwell Scale equivalent to 700-900 HV (Vickers Scale) and are hardened all the way through the ball. These are the same hardened steel balls used to manufacture bearing assemblies and have a high duty and life cycle.
Manufactured in compliance to the following international standards: AISI52100 / EN31 / BS534A99 / W1.3505 / BS535A99 / UNI100C6 / AFN100C6 / DIN100C6 / JIS G4805 SUJ2.
We follow the strict production process, and strict production quality control, to provide Top Quality, Top Service for the purpose of customer satisfaction. Such as inspection of raw materials → Cold heading process → Flashing process → heat treatment → hard grinding → lapping → eddy current tested by AVIKO → Cleaning → appearance inspection → Cleaning and Oil → Re-inspection → packaging.
After precision washing, oiling & before packing sample balls from the batch are sent for final inspect to check for surface roughness, roundness, waviness, lot size variation and hardness, according to specified control plans and inspection procedures. Inspection report is prepared for the customer once all requirements are met.
