Introduction
GCr15 steel is a kind of high carbon chromium bearing steel with low alloy content, have good performance and most widely used in various industires.it has high and uniform hardness, good wear resistance and high contact fatigue performance after quenching and tempering.
Our modern heat treating facilities, complete with controlled atmosphere and temperature, this enables us to maintain the Rockwell hardness within the standard range during any production process and reach any specific hardness specified by the customer. AISI E52100 Chrome Steel Balls are made with a through hardness of HRC 60 to 67, depending on requirements.
Chrome steel balls are uniformly hardened and tempered throughout their entire diameter to achieve maximum strength and quality. Ball hardness is controlled within the 60-66 HRC range as measured on parallel flat surfaces. Custom heat treating is available for special hardness and dimensional stability requirements.
At the beginning of the year 2015, our company import an eddy current test machine from the Czech Republic. It's the world's most advanced of steel ball surface quality inspection equipment at present, and also it's the only way to eliminate human error to ensure the balls detection quality.
The extremely precise and smooth surface of our chrome steel balls ensures that you will not find any defects such as flat surfaces, pits, soft spots, and cuts.
We mainly produce chrome steel, the size is 7.9375mm ~ 150.mm. The main material is high chromium GCR15 or GCR15SiMn. Our balls are mainly used in the wind energy industry.
Applicaton in many industrial fields
Our steel balls can be used in many industrial fields, such as wind power bearing, rolling media, ball bearings, vibration polishing, linear motion components.
Weldability
Because this material has 1% carbon, it does not weld well. It can be resistance welded with difficulty. It can be soft soldered with a high tin solder using an acid flux. It can be silver soldered or brazed; but the heat will cause distortion of the ball and a loss of hardness. For light load applications, the ball can be attached with an adhesive such as epoxy. When adhesive bounding is used, an area on the ball should be roughed up by etching or abrasive blasting. The area should be thoroughly cleaned.
